The Grand Rapids Balloon Festival is a fun filled, family friendly 3 day event to raise money for our community. Join the festival or visit the event with your family and help support the great cause. All proceeds are benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Pediatric Oncology Resource Team (P.O.R.T) which are both affiliated with Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Children’s Miracle Network
Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is a proud aff iliate of Children’s Miracle Network, a national program that raises both funds and awareness for the special health care needs of children. All of the money raised locally stays here at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital to help fund programs and services for children in our region. There are 193,968 reasons to support the Balloon Festival. That is how many kids received care from Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital this past year. Children from 81 of its 83 counties received care this past year. Your philanthropic support helps to fund Pediatric Heart, Music Therapy, Child Life, Pastoral Care and Bereavement Services, the Center for Child Protection, Pediatric Pain Management, Pediatric Hospice Care, Neonatal Intensive Care Family Support, Injury Prevention and many more programs and services.
